Asa married Elizabeth B. WHITE on 9 September, 1845. Elizabeth was born about 1826 in Perry Co., TN, the daughter of Joel WHITE and Sarah (whose maiden name was possibly BENTON). Elizabeth B. WHITE Moore died 14 Oct 1866 in Nacogdoches Co., TX and was buried near a grove of trees on the old home place with a marker placed at the Christian Cemetery, Nacogdoches Co, TX.
