Richard Moore was born in 1864 and was Asa and Elizabeth's youngest son. He married Jennie G. Voigt and owned, with his brother, Sterling P. Moore, a furniture store on the square in downtown Nacogdoches, property and buildings inherited from Asa. In 1892, he married Jennie G. VOIGT, beautiful daughter of Asa's friend and fellow Mason, Frederick VOIGT. They had 7 children. Richard died of tuberculosis in 1912.

 

Anna Louise COX is one of Richard and Jennie Moore's many grandchildren. Her parents were Vernon Joseph COX and Amelia Lillian MOORE.
